A new fund changes how money management firms create new strategies.
The new fund, AlphaPure, is a collaboration between INVESCO, Louisville, Ky.; investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, New York; and a host of other financial services institutions.
While money management firms have been coming out with new types of portfolio strategies such as 130/30 and portable alpha, few have done so by partnering with investment banks.
