Over the past three years, our Financial Markets Recruitment Division has completed more than 150 mid-to-senior-level search assignments within investment banking.

We are committed to finding the right candidate for every assignment and the team has an established reputation for successful placements within a number of well-defined product sectors. They have extensive market knowledge and contacts underpinning a well-balanced client base, comprising: Global Investment Banks, Niche Financial Boutique?s, Hedge Funds and Asset Management Houses.

The business focus, whilst flexible, is on VP level search and above in; Convertible Bonds, Debt & Equity Capital Markets, Derivatives, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions ? areas in which they had previously established a strong track record. Their mandate also extends to building a practice that covers other key banking disciplines as market forces dictate.

Team Members

Max Roberts ? Head of Financial Markets
Max began his career in Search with Alexander Mann in 1995, initially focusing on financial services and moved into investment banking search in early 1996. He formed part of the equity derivatives team with particular specialisation in equity structured products and convertible bond sales, from VP to MD level. More recently, his focus has been on ECM, equity-linked origination and corporate equity derivatives assignments. In November 2001, he joined Hanover Search to establish their Financial Markets division with the mandate to provide Executive Search within specific vertical markets.

Anthony Bexley ? Executive Consultant
Anthony is an experienced capital markets search consultant having worked in search and selection for over 10 years. He began his search career in IT recruitment but later moved into investment banking in 2001. He specialises in the foreign exchange and commodities markets, with particular focus on sales, trading, structuring and research.

Anthony joined Hanover in January 2007 and brings experience in executing searches from VP to MD level positions, within many of the top global financial institutions.

Chris Mitra-Hall ? Researcher
Chris is a Researcher, dedicated to providing support and advice to potential Financial Markets candidates along their career path. At Hanover, Chris is tasked with identifying strong candidates who work within ECM, DCM, Derivatives and IBD. Chris has 2 years prior experience as a Researcher within the Financial Markets sector.
